Welcome to ILLINOISouth

ILLINOISouth Tourism covers more ground than any other Convention and Visitor’s Bureau in the State of Illinois. We represent 23 counties stretching from the Mississippi River east of St. Louis, MO to the Wabash River west of Vincennes, IN. We are both rural and urban, allowing guests to enjoy big city life and simple, country treasures – all at once!

Visitors come to our region for family friendly attractions, historic sites and outdoor recreational opportunities as well as the 900 yearly events we are home to. While you’re here, be sure to stay in one of our many hotels, lodges or quaint B&Bs. Visit the attractions, check out the shopping destinations, cozy wineries and great local cuisine. Your next adventure is in ILLINOISouth.
