Illinois Office of Tourism Releases 2022 Illinois Made Holiday Gift Guide

CHICAGO - The Illinois Office of Tourism today released its annual Illinois Made Holiday Gift Guide highlighting 38 small diverse businesses around the state, ahead of Small Business Saturday on Nov. 26. The 2022 Illinois Made Holiday Gift Guide offers a wide variety of original gifts that are truly unique to Illinois — from handmade pottery and ornaments, locally sourced spirits and wine to custom-made apparel — for both travelers and shoppers to discover this holiday season.

“Supporting small businesses is key to economic growth and plays an important role in driving tourism to Illinois’ communities and neighborhoods,” said Sylvia I. Garcia, Director of the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DCEO) which includes the Illinois Office of Tourism. “The annual Illinois Made Holiday Gift Guide encourages residents and visitors to discover the perfect holiday gift by visiting and shopping at local businesses in every corner of the state this holiday season.”

Launched in 2016, the Illinois Made program inspires residents and visitors to discover the people, products and authentic experiences created by one-of-a-kind small businesses throughout the state. The program, which now features over 200 makers, continues to drive visitors to every region of the state year-round. This year's gift guide was produced in partnership with Dotdash Meredith publishing.
