Midwest Wingfest

Fairview Heights is the place to be this weekend for Midwest WingFest! This annual event has served  hundreds of thousands of people over a half million wings! This event isn't just about eating your way through... Guest can enjoy live music and relish in the fact that the mission is to raise money for Veteran and first responder causes. 

This is a free event but anyone over the age of 21 wanting to drink adult beverages must purchase a wristband for $10. The wristband includes 2 regular size beers and a commemorative cup. There is also a Wingfest VIP Pit Party this year allowing guests to get a great view of the live entertainment, a private Pit Cash Bar, and private restrooms. Tickets range from $25-$35 and a portion of every ticket sold will go to support the Midwest Wingfest Charity, Blue Skies for the Good Guys and GalsClick here to purchase VIP pit tickets.

Let's Talk About Wings

As a regional Chicken Wing Competition, there will be plenty of wings flying around. There are Adult and Teen Wing Eating Competitions with prizes. There is a limit of 12 contestants per contest so make sure to sign up at the Information Booth (Click here for the entry form). Men will have 25 wings, women 20 and teens 18. Prizes are:

Not ready to gorge yourself in wing heaven? Vendors will compete for Best Gourmet Wings, Best Hot Wing, and Best Overall Wing. Some of the vendors include Hooters, Hop House Southern Eatery, Sybergs, The Corner Chill and Grill, and more.

Other Things to Do

Ready to work off all that firey goodness? Check out the 5K Chicken Run on Saturday morning. Runners can sign up on the website until August 29th or register at the souvenir booth at the event. WingFest is a great day of family fun! There will be a children's area full of bouncy fun as well as a Car Cruise on Saturday afternoon. We can't wait to see you at WingFest 2018!
