Each week we highlight a few fun events within southwest, south central and southeast Illinois.  Our region hosts over 900 events each year, and we pride ourselves on providing the most accurate event information so that you don’t miss a thing. 45th Annual Fall Festival @ Kinmundy Log Cabin Village is right around the corner! Walk through Civil War Era Cabins and check out craft vendors! Live Demonstrations! Lots of new updates to cabins and don’t forget to stop by the General Store.

Join Park Rangers and volunteers as we work together to improve the many recreational amenities Carlyle Lake has to offer! A great opportunity to give back to the community while appreciating the outdoors. 

Tour de Tilden Bike Ride

Tilden City Park, Tilden, IL 

Saturday, September 24, 2022 @ 8 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Registration begins at 8:00 AM. Choose from a 5,10, 20, or 40 mile route. SAG wagon and food will be available from 8 am until 2 pm. Your $25.00 entry includes a long sleeve t-shirt, lunch, snacks and water on the trail, as well as SAG support. Cost is $30/day of ride. All rides begin and end at the Tilden Village Park, where there are restroom facilities. All participants are required to check in when returning from ride. Tour de Tilden will be held rain or shine. No refunds. This ride supports the Tilden Scholarship Fund.
