Breaking Cabin Fever – Family Fun Centers

cabin fever blog banner

With the winter months in full swing, it can get difficult to keep the young ones (or the young at heart) entertained at home. Over the next several weeks we’ll be sharing fun ideas for indoor activities for the whole family!

This week: Family Fun Centers

The Edge - Belleville
ILLINOISouth is home to several hot places to have fun when its cold!
Take aim and become the “king of the hill” in one of the great Laser Tag Arenas. Black lights, fog machines and high intensity music set the stage for an action-packed game that’s fun until the very end. Everyone from kids to grandparents will experience fun and excitement.

Looking for something for the younger party animals in your house? Kids 12 and under can kick off their shoes and bounce on over to Monkey Joe’s in Fairview Heights! Jump around bounce houses, climb through obstacles and slide down huge inflatable slides. Arcade games and refreshments are available. There’s even a Mini-Monkey Zone for toddlers and a special “Parent Area” to relax while the friendly and well-trained staff makes sure there’s no…um…monkey business.

Maybe you’re looking for something a little more traditional – show off your skee ball skills at one of the arcades in the area or put up the bumpers and teach the little ones how to bowl!

There’s no shortage of interesting ways to get out and play in the winter – here are the specifics on what and where…
