Carlyle Sailing Association
Located in Eldon Hazlet State Park, the marina offers launching facilities, a clubhouse, and other amenities. Open to the Sailing Public, the association organizes several sailing regattas from May through October. The harbor accommodates more than 280 boats in ‘dry sail’ plus 100 beach cats. There are three electric hoists, two ramps,
and a 300-foot beach area. CSA offers club activities from May through October including a 25-weekend racing program, learn-to-sail programs for kids and adults, sailboat/kayak rentals, training programs, and numerous social events.
The McKendree MetroRecPlex is a new, full-service, state-of-the-art sports complex. The complex offers two NHL-sized ice rinks, an aquatic center fit with a 10 lane championship swimming pool, a contemporary fitness area and many other amenities. Memberships and daily passes can be purchased for use of the facility and all its features.

The trail runs from the Carlyle Lake Visitor’s Center (Trailhead) east for 10 miles across the Carlyle Lake/Kaskaskia River Dam and the saddle dams. The surface is black top and concrete with some crushed rock surface on the eastern end.
Able to accommodate boats up to 45 ft in covered slips and 40 ft in open slips. Trade Winds Marina is a great place to park your boat. The clubhouse features showers, restrooms and a lounging area for members. A ship store also carries boating essentials.
The Marina is on the east side of Carlyle Lake adjacent to the Boulder Recreation Area. It has modern concrete docks, water and electric service, a gas dock and ship’s store, boat lifts, private ramp and more.
The reserve wines humbly wear the label of the variety of grapes grown in this vineyard. Customers are invited to enjoy the fruit flavors in the wines and relax in a country setting with family and friends.
Visit the farm for Fall Festival Fun Thursdays through Saturdays or by appointment in late September through October. Activities include a barrel train, corn maze, corn bin, horse swings, and more.
