The McKendree MetroRecPlex is a new, full-service, state-of-the-art sports complex. The complex offers two NHL-sized ice rinks, an aquatic center fit with a 10 lane championship swimming pool, a contemporary fitness area and many other amenities. Memberships and daily passes can be purchased for use of the facility and all its features.

CARD is a recreation district featuring six parks, Arlington Greens Golf Course, Splash City Water Park, The Jaycee Sports Complex, and Willoughby Heritage Farm.
The campus houses two gyms that can be configured for basketball, volleyball or wrestling. Hypes Field and Bearcat Field house the baseball and softball teams and Leemon Field is home to several programs including football, soccer and track & field.

Up to 60 local children are cast in an adaptation of a favorite fairy tale, such as Princess & the Pea, Sleeping Beauty, Peter Pan, Pinnochio, Treasure Island. Two shows are performed each April.
