The McKendree MetroRecPlex is a new, full-service, state-of-the-art sports complex. The complex offers two NHL-sized ice rinks, an aquatic center fit with a 10 lane championship swimming pool, a contemporary fitness area and many other amenities. Memberships and daily passes can be purchased for use of the facility and all its features.

CARD is a recreation district featuring six parks, Arlington Greens Golf Course, Splash City Water Park, The Jaycee Sports Complex, and Willoughby Heritage Farm.
Space for large and small groups is available in the beautiful Visitors Center on the grounds of the Shrine. Menus are available online to make it easy.
Town Hall Archery has indoor ranges available for lessons, events, and just plain practice! We’ve serviced the Metro-East for over 45 years, and many residents come on a regular basis!
Our ranges are open Mon – Fri 9:00 to 9:00, Saturday 9:00am to 3:00pm, and closed on Sundays. Closed Thanksgiving
A relaxing walking trail winds around the turtle filled pond through the tall shady trees and across rustic bridges. The 30-acre nature park includes a fising pond, hiking trails and picnic shelters.
Sand volleyball courts, baseball/softball diamonds, soccer field, a 1.5-mile walking/running path, concession stands, picnic shelters, a large lake and the new playground make this park a getaway for visitors. Every year the Midwest Salute to the Arts is held here in August.
This 3.8 mi. asphalt trail has several bridges and picturesque views of Richland Creek. It’s ideal for a family or group outing, a quiet walk or a short bike ride. It is altogether flat except for its one steep rise to the MetroBikeLink Trail.
Enjoy a unique atmosphere and menu inside or in the beer garden that compliments the beers. There’s something to suit every taste from light to sweet to heavy and bitter.
See the workhorse of the Air Mobility Command, the C-141 Starlifter, and the KC-135 Stratotanker. Additionally, the C-9 Nightingale, C-130 Hercules, C-140 Jetstar and a C-21 Lear Jet are on display. Scott AFB is one of the oldest, continuous-service Air Force installations in the country.
