The McKendree MetroRecPlex is a new, full-service, state-of-the-art sports complex. The complex offers two NHL-sized ice rinks, an aquatic center fit with a 10 lane championship swimming pool, a contemporary fitness area and many other amenities. Memberships and daily passes can be purchased for use of the facility and all its features.

Visit the farm for Fall Festival Fun Thursdays through Saturdays or by appointment in late September through October. Activities include a barrel train, corn maze, corn bin, horse swings, and more.

The Blue Devil Gymnasium has hosted NJCAA tournaments as well as youth and all-star events with two basketball courts, a volleyball court, a baseball field, a softball diamond and a fullsize soccer field.
The trail runs from the Carlyle Lake Visitor’s Center (Trailhead) east for 10 miles across the Carlyle Lake/Kaskaskia River Dam and the saddle dams. The surface is black top and concrete with some crushed rock surface on the eastern end.
