The McKendree MetroRecPlex is a new, full-service, state-of-the-art sports complex. The complex offers two NHL-sized ice rinks, an aquatic center fit with a 10 lane championship swimming pool, a contemporary fitness area and many other amenities. Memberships and daily passes can be purchased for use of the facility and all its features.

Town Hall Archery has indoor ranges available for lessons, events, and just plain practice! We’ve serviced the Metro-East for over 45 years, and many residents come on a regular basis!
Our ranges are open Mon – Fri 9:00 to 9:00, Saturday 9:00am to 3:00pm, and closed on Sundays. Closed Thanksgiving
Space for large and small groups is available in the beautiful Visitors Center on the grounds of the Shrine. Menus are available online to make it easy.
This campus houses two gyms within the Lynx Arena. The main gym holds up to 1,000 and has the capability of hosting basketball and volleyball games. The recreation gym may be partitioned into three separate spaces and can hold four volleyball games and two basketball games at one time. The campus also has a full size outdoor soccer facility, tennis courts and a newly renovated football stadium, which can seat up to 4,000 spectators.
There are 200 beautifully landscaped acres of gardens, devotional areas, an Outdoor Amphitheatre, the Shrine Church, the Lourdes Grotto, Stations of the Cross, the Millennium Spire, Visitors Center with a restaurant & gift shop and the Shrine Hotel.
Sand volleyball courts, baseball/softball diamonds, soccer field, a 1.5-mile walking/running path, concession stands, picnic shelters, a large lake and the new playground make this park a getaway for visitors. Every year the Midwest Salute to the Arts is held here in August.
