You can join one of many tournaments on the Air-ball fields, or if that’s not your style, try hunting down your buddies on one of our many woods-ball fields! Open play packages and parties are available, too.
The McKendree MetroRecPlex is a new, full-service, state-of-the-art sports complex. The complex offers two NHL-sized ice rinks, an aquatic center fit with a 10 lane championship swimming pool, a contemporary fitness area and many other amenities. Memberships and daily passes can be purchased for use of the facility and all its features.

Belleville has 20+ parks with 200+ acres of parkland, ball diamonds, batting cages, concessions, grandstand seating for 300 and numerous playgrounds, walking and biking trails. Enjoy the New Bicentennial Park, celebrating Belleville’s 200th Anniversary in 2014.
This campus houses two gyms within the Lynx Arena. The main gym holds up to 1,000 and has the capability of hosting basketball and volleyball games. The recreation gym may be partitioned into three separate spaces and can hold four volleyball games and two basketball games at one time. The campus also has a full size outdoor soccer facility, tennis courts and a newly renovated football stadium, which can seat up to 4,000 spectators.
The Preserve is an old growth forest remnant set in the sinkhole plain between Millstadt and Columbia. The Homer F. Stemler Memorial Walking Trail offers over 2 miles of hiking with 12 interpretive points.

General admission screens come with comfortable seating in a small theater setting.
An actual 35.25 ft. long steel column, weighing 7,100 lbs. from one of the fallen World Trade Center towers is a signature feature of the memorial. A timeline tells of the events of 9/11 including the Twin Towers, Pentagon and Flight 93.
