Life's a Trip at Mill Creek Lake

Mill Creek Lake is located right off Interstate 70 outside of Marshall. This wildlife area is home to all things outdoors including camping, boating, and biking.

Step back to a much simpler time without all the distractions of modern day while becoming closer with nature. The lake is 731 acres and only goes up to 60 feet in some areas. The average depth is 22 feet making it great for boating or fishing.

The best fishing at Mill Creek Lake is for crappie. White and black crappie are very abundant at this lake and growth rates have been steadily increasing year after year. There is also a good chance you can catch some channel catfish, largemouth bass or redear sunfish. If you have a boat there are several access points to the lake. Don’t miss the chance to take the family riding or tubing around the lake.
