The Hanna House Museum is open Saturdays, April through October,10 a.m.–2 p.m. except on holidays. It is located at 101 E. Center Street, Fairfield, IL. Please note that children are welcome but must be accompanied and directly supervised by adults at all times in the Hanna House. Food and drinks are not allowed. Admission is free. We regret that this 1874 building does not have handicapped-accessible restrooms. The Fairfield Public Library–one block east, has fully accessible facilities and similar hours.
The Museum showcases relics from the 1920s to the present. Featuring several special exhibits including military items from WWII and the Vietnam War, country schools, the Shelton Gang, the Oil Boom, medicine, sports, schools, country store, and farming items.
