Black and Tan Days 2019 – May 1-4 – Charley Brown Park, Flora
Grab your hunting gear and a hound or two for this 4-day event in Flora! Go ‘run a raccoon at Charley Brown Park May 1-4th, and don’t miss out on the Bench Show, Pup Derby, UKC Water Race, and more. Breed barn, camping, and hotels are available as accommodations. This event is sponsored by the American Black & Tan Coonhound Association.
Kentucky Derby Weekend FUN – May 3-5 – Rest Up Camping & RV Corral, Grayville

19th Annual MayFest Car Show – May 4 – Noble Park, Noble
Join the White Squirrel Cruisers at Noble City Park for some top-class car fun! There will be food, music, and a car contest. Welcome to all! And don’t forget to attend the 32nd Annual White Squirrel Cruisers Cruise & Car Show in Olney on August 17 -18!
Kids’ Day at Fort de Chartres – May 4 – Prairie du Rocher

3rd Annual Vandalia Kite Festival – May 4 – Kaskaskia College, Vandalia
May the 4th be with you and become the best kite-flying Jedi! Bring out your Star Wars kites to this family event and enjoy various games, snacks, music, and more. Kites go into the sky at noon. Don’t have a kite? Don’t worry! Free kites will be available.
Courthouse Cruise-In – May 4 – Downtown Greenville
Bring out your best muscle cars, hot rods, and cruisers to this free event in Greenville. Enjoy the food stands, oldies music, and enter the 50/50 drawing for a prize! The Cruise-In is open to all makes and models.
Locust Street Historic Fair – May 4 – Downtown Centralia
There’s fun for the whole family at this artisan event! Join Locust Street this year and see what crafters have been making. Go on historical and theater tours, watch performances and demonstrations and more. Food vendors also are available.
May Market – May 4 – Downtown Lebanon
